Do It Yourself: 2 Ingredient All Purpose Cleaner

Words & Images by Jay Wen

We use up a lot of lemons in our household. I like a splash of lemon in my water and sparkling water. I like to make an Apple Cider Vinegar, Lemon and Honey concoction every now and again when I am feeling under the weather and need a little immunity boost. So by the end of the week, I have piles of lemon peels. Instead of tossing it directly into my composter, I know I can get an extra use out of them while also keeping my house lemon-y fresh clean!

This DIY is super easy. 2 Ingredients & 2 weeks waiting time.

Fill the jar up with white vinegar to the top. Seal it up with an airtight lid, put it in an area not exposed to sunlight and wait 2 weeks. After two weeks, strain the liquid into a spray bottle to use.

Although this is meant to be an all-purpose cleaner, DO NOT use this vinegar spray on your beautiful marble, granite, or stone countertops.

But this is perfect for spraying down your fridge, wiping up spills, and wiping down windows.
