NYBG Orchid Show

New York Botanic Garden is one of my favorite places to go to as a New Yorker. Only 20 minutes from Grand Central,  NYBG is a really pleasant place for a slower pace. I couldn't wait to go to the Orchid Show: Thailand to see all the beautiful exotic flowers.

There are so many incredible shapes, sizes and colors of orchids. Here are a few images from my visit.

The pretty pictures do not do the exhibition justice. Being there feels like another wild world. Go if you can!

If you are following me on Instagram, you know I bought this orchid. Sadly, my last purple Dendrobium orchid didn't make it but I am determined to keep this one alive. She currently lives in the bathroom accompanied with a humidifier and a mister. If anyone has tips on keeping her alive and happy, I would appreciate it!

For lunch we stopped by the Hudson Grill and the food was SPECTACULAR. It was our second time eating there and it did not disappoint. Definitely get the monkey bread - the honey butter will blow your mind. And if you like crab cakes, this is the place to get 'em!
